The Role

We’re seeking a motivated Practice Manager to lead and support a team of Supervising Social Workers. You’ll oversee quality of practice, foster carer assessments and reviews, and contribute to inspections and improvement work. This role also deputises for the Registered Manager.


What You'll Do:

  • Supervise and appraise Supervising Social Workers
  • Act as Panel Advisor and manage assessments/reviews
  • Support recruitment and training of foster carers
  • Lead on quality assurance and compliance
  • Deputise for Registered Manager and manage team operations
  • Participate in Out of Hours rota


What You'll Need:

  • Degree in Social Work (DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting foster carers
  • Strong knowledge of fostering regulations and safeguarding
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across Staffordshire & Lancashire
