Self-Employed Maintenance Contractor – North West (Manchester, Macclesfield, Formby)


We’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated maintenance contractor/handyman to support ongoing property maintenance across the North West — primarily in Manchester, Macclesfield, and Formby.


This is a flexible, self-employed role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values quality, and enjoys the freedom of managing their own schedule. If you're experienced in general maintenance and looking for consistent, well-supported work, we'd love to hear from you.

 

About the Role:

As a contractor, you’ll carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair jobs including (but not limited to):

  • General repairs
  • Painting & decorating
  • Basic plumbing & electrics
  • Flat pack furniture assembly
  • Garden maintenance
  • Property upkeep

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven handyman/maintenance experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Own tools and transport
  • Public liability insurance
  • Friendly, professional, and punctual
  • Able to work independently and manage your own time
  • Enhanced DBS Compliance (funded by company)
