Family Care is a small family-owned organisation providing specialist SEN education, fostering and residential care across the North West and West Midlands. We are committed to supporting vulnerable children and young people through nurturing, therapeutic services that have a lasting impact on their lives.
Eden School is a specialist independent school in Macclesfield where every child is valued as part of a close and supportive community. We provide individualised SEN education within a therapeutic learning environment for young people aged 6–16 with autism, ADHD, and/or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Pupils are taught in small classes of no more than six, each supported by at least one full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to ensure a high level of personalised support.
We are seeking a teacher with experience teaching across KS2–KS4 in either a mainstream or special school setting, using a primary-style approach tailored to support individual learning and developmental needs. An interest in taking on the role of Science Lead would also be desirable.
At Family Care we value all of the progress that our pupils make, academic, social and emotional; all teachers at Family Care measure their success by pupils’ progress in all of these areas of learning.
If you are an innovative teacher who is skilled at engaging disengaged learners and can deliver learning to pupils with a diverse range of needs, we would be delighted to hear from you.
